We have had children at Marin Primary and Middle School for over 5 years and we could not be more grateful to be a part of this community. The teachers are truly invested in our children's education and emotional wellbeing. The school does a great job and amplifying the subjects that our kids excel in and support those that are more challenging. Being a parent here feels like a real partnership in how to best support each kid, and when you email administration they get back to you with a collaborative approach. Thank you Marin Primary!

We absolutely love Marin Montessori School (MMS). Both of our children have attended, one starting in 1st grade and currently is in 4th. The other started in 4th and now is in 8th grade at their Junior High. MMS has been an incredible experience for our family. Even though we commute from San Francisco, it has been more than worth it (MMS has a shuttle bus, which makes the commute very convenient and easy). We were looking for an authentic Montessori program, and MMS is truly the best of the best. As an aside, the campus is stunning, and I strongly encourage you to visit if you are considering it.As parents, what we wanted most for our children was both a joy in learning and a strong academic foundation. MMS has provided exactly that. The children are given meaningful freedom in their learning, while also being held accountable for completing work and encouraged to stretch themselves into new challenges.Another piece I deeply appreciate is how the teachers have supported both of our children in navigating conflicts with classmates, which is such a normal part of growing up. I always felt confident that the teachers approached these moments of friction thoughtfully, supporting all parties and helping the children learn and grow from the experience.Both of our children love to learn, and we fully credit Montessori, and especially MMS for that. In my opinion, checking out MMS is an absolute must.

Academics are a bit slow in lower school, but they improve as students move up.

This is our first year at Chronos. My daughter is 4.5years old (TK) and in the TK/K/1 classroom. It’s been such a great experience and she’s learned so much. Chronos is a hidden gem of a school, it’s an experience not only for the students, but also the parents. There are so many opportunities for family involvement from field trip Fridays and weekly presentations. I also love all the photos and videos that are uploaded! Chronos is a good mix of fun combined with strong academics. The school also offers early care and aftercare. They’re open at 8 and close at 5, except Fridays pick up is at 4. I am by profession a public school educator and I strongly endorse Chronos!
