As a substitute teacher in this district, I can tell you the teachers at this school are dedicate to the students, and do as much as they can to get them to succeed, but todays students just want to talk. talk, talk, talk.....There is very little parent involvement in the education of the children, and what is important to the parent, is what is important to the child. And do you know it is a state law that you can not expel a student? Can you imagine what the borderline student is saying to himself when he sees a child who doesn't work, disrupts the class, and is doing what he wants to do, when he wants to do it, and there are no consequences for his actions. Maybe, "Why don't I do the same thing. It looks like fun'. You who judge teachers and their effectiveness, try teaching for a month, better yet, if you are a man, send your wife for that month, they treat women different men.

Ok the whole pick up system they have is great. I think my kids teachers are great. But the only big thing I disagree is their lack of anti bullying. I disagree with the principal's way of handling it trying to encourage kids with an award. Kids that are being abused at home, which most of the time they are the bullies, don't care or even understand this reward, When they are not being awarded at home. there is no prevention. My kids have seen kids pick fights. Tease others, hitting, punching others. my son and daughter are a victim of some of this. It upsets me that they won't take the steps to start a real program to make this school a safer and a better place for the children.

This school was very different from any other school I had ever been too the teachers cared and at lunch time we had a taco truck with good food and it was center for a lot of my memories at this amazing school. my math teacher was a great guy Mr. Sanchez I will not forget him he really taught me math effectively. I first went to this school my 2nd half of my 9th grade year and left after my jr year in those years i made good memories.

MCIA has helped my grandchild a lot by providing a flexible schedule, excellent teachers, and the encouragement she needs. They provide a positive environment for her to gain the education she needs to succeed in life but without the social difficulties and negatives she was experiencing at her previous school.
