"There are many friendly people who love to walk their dogs and just be outside. We have a great 4th of July parade as well as bocce ball courts with an organized league . Great restaurants and close to the beach."

"It’s very easy to drive around the area. Less cars around than the rest of Los Angeles. Plus it’s a small town and easy to walk around in."

"If you can afford it, Pacific Palisades is a lovely area to raise a family. Relatively safe, clean streets, and some nice public parks in the area. Also you are close to the ocean, and hiking trails. Life is definitely more costly on the West side, but some would argue well worth it."

"Short of you don’t travel far or if you leave in off peak hours. The views outweigh any downfall we would feel while sitting in traffic though. "

"Friendly to dogs. Very conservative environment due to the affluence of the area. Remember to pick up after pet and you’ll be just fine. "

"It’s fine, there are buses that go though here, along with Lyft and Uber. It’s easy to get to the airport LAX from here as well, since you can just go down Lincoln Blvd"

"Most people are happy to say hello to well behaved dogs. People pick up after their dogs here but I don’t like it when the use my garbage bin to throw away their bags of poop. I’m not a dog owner but if I were, I would use my own bin."

Through all of the trials and tribulations of the last two COVID impacted years the school has been amazing about prioritizing the kids and making sure that their learning during these early formative years is impacted as little as possible.Parent Review4y ago25 Reviews - St. Matthew's Parish School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a lifelong connection with St Matthew's. I am an alum and my children are current students. The campus is as beautiful as ever with a safe hands-on learning environment. The community is strong with engaged parents and faculty. My kids are happy and have made deep friendships and are succeeding academically. The teachers and administration are top notch. They truly care about the community and the students. The pandemic brought on its challenges, but it's great to be past that with an amazing new Head of School and an active supportive community.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Village School, Inc.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve been at Village for seven years and truly couldn’t be happier with our experience. Village strikes a wonderful balance between strong academics and meaningful social-emotional growth. It’s a school that not only educates children, but genuinely nurtures them — and we feel incredibly grateful to be part of this community. We see this play out in our family with excellent standardized test scores and excellent emotional intelligence. Village’s placement into top middle schools speaks for itself. Through both COVID and the fires, the school demonstrated remarkable resilience, leadership, and care. The way they supported students and families during those unprecedented challenges was thoughtful, steady, and above and beyond.Parent Review3mo ago24 Reviews - Westside Waldorf School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt really is a magical experience to be a parent of a student attending Westside Waldorf. We have the most incredible teachers who have the most passion and love of guiding these little souls into victorious members of Society. They really see through to the child and nurture that spirit with appropriate guidance and nurturing and as a result my child seems so supported loved, seen and held. The leaders of the school listen and hear the parents and collaborate with us to make this a home away from home. The playground is the most magical element of the community. It is where all parents meet every morning to handover our children and to see our kids flourish in a true childhood like experience is a handover like no other. I truly believe if we want our children to succeed in this new upcoming unknown world nurturing the spirit and the soul of the person like Westside Waldorf does is putting our kids ahead.Parent Review1mo ago40 Reviews
