"Small streets and there are not too many food vendors which would be nice to have. Also we need more cafes !!"

"Not the most walkable neighborhood but it's cleaner than most. But a lot of people walk their dog and have kids."

"Lots of quinceañeras happen all hours of the day and night. Not a lot of community vibe in my specific neighborhood. "

"I see people walking their dogs and always saying hi. The neighborhood is quiet and has all your groceries around you that makes it walkable. "

"The convenience of where everything is located in conjunction with easy access to main freeways like the 101. That is, getting out of Hollywood (specifically) is made easier. "

"Too much noise, children hospital is near and helicopters and paramedics with sirens so loudly passing by"

"Very loud, cops around all the time. Nice parks though. Walkable sometimes if the sidewalk isn’t broken in a million pieces. "

"I think it is important for parents to know who their neighbors are. Parents need to know if it is safe for our children to go outside to play and for our children to walk home and to school on their own without their Parents."

"Lots of traffic but once you’re west of La Brea it gets a little better. There are a lot of pedestrians so that slows things down."

"Friendliest families that have lived on Lemon Grove and Hobart for over 15 years. Lemon Grove Park and Melrose Hills make for a nice late afternoon walk with our two toddlers. "

"It’s an evolving neighborhood that with gentrification its becoming safer but more expensive. So only the people that have a good source of income will be able to enjoy what will become of this area in the near future"

"I don’t like that others don’t pick up their dogs poop. You need to watch out where your walking. But schools are close. There are parks that kids can play. I feel safe walking after dark.. also there are a lot of eating place and small grocery shops. Near bus stations. Accessible to everything."

"It’s a very beautiful neighborhood perfect for walking your dog, however, if you your dog is older or has physical difficulties it would be hard on your dog because there are lots of steep inclined hills. "

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHollywood Schoolhouse is more than just a school, it becomes a community, a place where your child will become the best version of themselves and become a lifelong learner. Our daughter went there from Junior Kindergarten and graduated from 7th grade and we couldn’t have been happier – the teachers are fantastic and really take the time to form bonds with the students beyond class hours, they are creative in their teaching and the projects make them excited to learn. Another thing great about HSH are all the traditions both for students and families. Most importantly our daughter was prepared and confident for middle school both in education and as a good person in the community.Parent Review1y ago26 Reviews - Beverly Hills Resources Corporation School DBA Bev
