9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHHS offers a solid traditional high school education, especially focused towards students who are not university bound. It's great for career and JC focused students but it doesn't offer enough challenging and honor based programs (besides obsolete AP requirements) for the students that want to stretch and thrive. Generally HHS is catering to the median, and it breeds a culture of mediocrity and malaise where some of our more accelerated students yearn for enthusiasm, passion, risk and challenge.Parent Review8y ago5 Reviews - Marce Becerra Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRio is a place where you can get to know more about yourself. Whether it's through leadership, sports, music, or just hanging out with friends, you have the opportunity to experience new things and gain independence. Living in the dorm has its upsides and downsides, but contributes to your maturity level and allows you to grow without the sheltering of your parents. Rio is an overall fun place to be, but is also academically stressful at times. The workload is often overwhelming with all of the activities going on, and the Wi-Fi shuts off at 11pm every night and for the entire Saturday. This restricts the time in which students can get things done. Most of the teachers are lenient when it comes to due dates, but this honestly varies between assignments and circumstances. The atmosphere and campus is beautiful and truly showcases God's glory.Student Review4y ago8 Reviews
