Read what parents are saying about Healdsburg High SchoolHHS offers a solid traditional high school education, especially focused towards students who are not university bound. It's great for career and JC focused students but it doesn't offer enough challenging and honor based programs (besides obsolete AP requirements) for the students that want to stretch and thrive. Generally HHS is catering to the median, and it breeds a culture of mediocrity and malaise where some of our more accelerated students yearn for enthusiasm, passion, risk and challenge.
Posted by a parent on 3/17/2018Healdsburg High School has a very punitive and disrespectful Vice Principal. Your child can get a mediocre education here because classes and teachers are better than a lot of schools, but don't expect compassion from the administration. Fortunately, the counseling office, while understaffed, does have wonderful people.

The value is great...there are experienced, caring teachers; amazing resources and extras (library, new iPads, SmartBoards in every class, music, theatre, spanish, art, healthy hot lunch program) in a nurturing environment! Seems like every other week there is something warm and special going on...from Spirit Week, field trips, gatherings among grades. It's safe, secure, and nurtures the mind AND spirit! N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are very pleased with the quality of education our daughter is receiving from Healdsburg Charter School. The Project Based Learning philosophy allows children to learn in a very interactive environment where they are encouraged to learn by doing. The Field Studies (field trips) the classes have taken greatly expand upon what they are learning in class. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of Field Studies the children go on. The administration, teachers and PTO are an asset to the school as everyone has the common goal of creating a fun and educational environment for the children.Parent Review9y ago
