"Our area is nice, pretty clean and good schools. We had fires 5 years ago, the likelihood of it happening here again is pretty slim. Excellent grocery store, an a few restaurants and good stores. We have lived here for about 7 years. We have no desire to move. Also it easy access to freeway and shopping centers. And hospital and medical clinics. Farmers markets every Wednesday and Saturday. Excellent area for families and friends. 100 words are hard to come up with."

"I’ve lived in this area 6 years. People are friendly and courteous hen you see them. A good portion of the neighbors are good about keeping their places up and seems to be tidy. Several good stores and restaurants locally. "

"The Saturday and Wednesday farmers markets are wonderful. Just a few miles to Russian river resort area. The local airport is minutes away. Molesberry’s market, local pub and several restaurants. I love it. "

"Ample wide sidewalks on both sides of the road for easy excerizing your dogs. People are always courteous and friendly. This area has a very good veterinary hospital. I believe the dr is very knowable and their pricing is competitive. "

"A lovely neighborhood just 10 min from everywhere. Like living far into the country side but with ability to walk to the grocery store, gas, Doctors Office, Starbucks, on to 101 easy!"

"I live on this block and work in Larkfield. The cul-de-sac is very safe, and the neighbors watch out for each other. It is a supportive community. It is close to bus, great for bike riding out in the country past vineyards (Faught Rd. to Dry Creek, Shiloh, or Pleasant), and very close to Shiloh Regional Park for great hiking. Mark West Unified School District is outstanding, and there is a charter middle school located at San Miguel School."

"Santa Rosa's Wikiup Hills remain a hidden gem! An ideal neighborhood for those looking for something unique and an alternative to Fountaingrove. Executive style homes that were built primarily in the 1970's and 80's. Large lots and many with fabulous views. Private, country feel yet close to all the city conveniences of Santa Rosa and Healdsburg."

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHands down the BEST public elementary school I have seen. These reviews from 2014 are nothing compared to today. Teachers are amazing. My children are excelling despite the pandemic. The PTA raises and incredible amount of money and it ALL goes into providing extra programs (PE, ART, STEM, One School One Book). Riebli is an amazing community and I am proud that my children attend this school!Parent Review2y ago15 Reviews - Mark West Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have, my family has and my kids have been an extremely dedicated family for over 20 years to Mark West, volunteering, donating With No Issue Until I had a child who wasn't perfect who had issues. This is not a school for any kids with behavior or learning issues at all. They will do anything and everything to get ride of them.I received a notice that said we have been watching you for months yet I'm told my kids are not enrolled 4 days before school starts? So I have no after school child care nothing for my children I thought Mark West and its staff Cared About. What a horrible thing all the way around. I had several families tell me that were on interdistrict transfers that had children with any kind of special needs where pushed out by any means. I didn’t believe it and stuck up for MWUSD! They have some of the best teachers but new staff, district people are just well not the same!Parent Review1y ago8 Reviews - San Miguel Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSan Miguel has amazing teachers and an amazing Principal who personally knows every student’s name. It is a loving and supportive school with smaller class sizes than other schools in the area. My husband and I are very impressed with the level of education our child is receiving there.Parent Review4y ago9 Reviews - Mark West Charter School
