2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was the worst ever for the school year 2015-2016. Having Mariano/Haskell administration is a big pary of why this school has problems, especially when dealing with bully problems. Instead of investigating the underlying causes of bullying, their approach to dealing with issues was to suspend students. This is nothing more than putting a bandaid on issues....Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - K. I. Jones Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is very happy here. He looks forward to going to school everyday and has liked all his teachers so far. His current teacher challenges him and I believe he has developed good learning habits to help him build strong foundational skills while he is here.Parent Review1y ago18 Reviews - E. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey have no plan to deal with bullying. My son has been picked on by the same kids for years and they do nothing about it. The kids are all labeled “problem kids” and are faced with contracts and agreements to not do it again. Anyone who’s been bullied knows a contact does nothing. He’s bullied at school, on the way to school, on the way home from school. When he defends himself by pushing someone from him he gets suspended or labeled a problem child the same way the bullies are. I want my son safe and this school has no way to do that so we will be pulling him out at the end of the year and converting to online learning. This is his 3rd school (we’ve moved twice) and this is the ONLY school we’ve had these types of problems with. The kids curse like sailors it’s not a good environment at all.Parent Review4y ago9 Reviews - B. Gale Wilson Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff is like a family and we all want to work here and teach students. We have many involved parents who care about their children's education. Our new administrative staff is working hard to made things good for staff and students. The old reviews make me sad, and I hope others will jump in and give fair reviews on our wonderful school.Parent Review4y ago9 Reviews - Weir Preparatory Academy

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience can only be rated based on my experience with the office staff. And the speech staff and I can say for it really being my first time getting the speech services started. This school has been the best and I have now work with 3 total and each in a different district. My experience with David Weir and the Fairfield/Suisun district was the best. Bc when I started with the IEP process it was the end of the school year. So it was going to have to be finished the next school year. And the speech pathologist at David weird was the one to call me first thing in the new school year. Which was great because I had lots of stuff going on. Then during that school year we moved back to Sacramento. We were in the Natomas unified school district. There it was very hard to get the speech services started up and it only had to be transferred.Parent Review6y ago6 Reviews - Kindercare Learning Centers
