This school was the worst ever for the school year 2015-2016. Having Mariano/Haskell administration is a big pary of why this school has problems, especially when dealing with bully problems. Instead of investigating the underlying causes of bullying, their approach to dealing with issues was to suspend students. This is nothing more than putting a bandaid on issues....

My son is very happy here. He looks forward to going to school everyday and has liked all his teachers so far. His current teacher challenges him and I believe he has developed good learning habits to help him build strong foundational skills while he is here.

This school has serious issues that need to be addressed. The way bullying is handled is not effective, and the system clearly does not work. Situations are not resolved properly, which raises real concerns about students safety. Communication from staff is also poor and inconsistent, leaving parents without clear updates or follow-through. On top of that, many things at this school feel disorganized. Drop-off and pick-up are always a mess, with no clear structure or efficiency. Overall, there needs to be major improvement in organization, communication, and how student behavior are handled.

The staff is like a family and we all want to work here and teach students. We have many involved parents who care about their children's education. Our new administrative staff is working hard to made things good for staff and students. The old reviews make me sad, and I hope others will jump in and give fair reviews on our wonderful school.

My experience can only be rated based on my experience with the office staff. And the speech staff and I can say for it really being my first time getting the speech services started. This school has been the best and I have now work with 3 total and each in a different district. My experience with David Weir and the Fairfield/Suisun district was the best. Bc when I started with the IEP process it was the end of the school year. So it was going to have to be finished the next school year. And the speech pathologist at David weird was the one to call me first thing in the new school year. Which was great because I had lots of stuff going on. Then during that school year we moved back to Sacramento. We were in the Natomas unified school district. There it was very hard to get the speech services started up and it only had to be transferred.
