Two years ago, we were debating moving our son to a public school for middle school, but we are so glad we chose to stay. We are incredibly grateful for the Junior High program at Arborland Montessori School, which has exceeded our expectations in every way.Arborland is strongly committed to overall development. While the academics are strong, the focus extends well beyond grades. The program nurtures confidence, independence, and emotional maturity, qualities that are essential during this critical stage of growth. Ms. Simms and Mr. Smith are outstanding educators who create a supportive, dynamic learning environment. They understand each student's unique strengths and learning styles, and they know how to challenge them in just the right ways.One of the most distinctive features of the program is the 8th-grade internship. This rare opportunity provides students with real-world experience, helping them develop confidence, professionalism, and learn valuable life skills. It's just one example of how Arborland prepares students for life beyond the classroom.Communication skills are also a major focus. Students are encouraged to express their ideas clearly and persuasively through discussions, presentations, speeches, debates, and writing. This emphasis has helped our son become more thoughtful, articulate, and confident.Academically, the program is rigorous and well-rounded. Opportunities like the academic pentathlon promote both individual growth and teamwork in a challenging, rewarding environment. Oh how I miss the old St.Justin. The one that kept good teachers. The school who acknowledged parents and never chose favortism. Once Pax academy took over that was the schools downfall. Feels like a public school but the only difference is we pay. We pay the mafia now and the magia being Pax Cristy. If you are looking for a wholesome Catholic School this isn’t for you. If you want a high cost public school this is for you. For new incoming families, please do your homework, classes are extremely impacted. 7th grade has 35 kids! Not even what public schools entertain. Sad to see St. Justin like this we will miss our friends!
