"Nostalgia Grew up in this neighborhood and lived here for 40 years It’s not a bad neighborhood per se. It’s just very rundown. New types of people live in the neighborhood so they don’t take care of it the way our families used to "

"Lots of homeless at night, but in a gated community we are ok, but it’s still a big problem we have in this city"

"There are a lot of people walking their dogs, but because of the amount of homeless people, it might be kind of uncomfortable at times"

"The schools are not great, the parks are sketchy and full of homeless people who appear to be on drugs, and I don’t feel safe in this neighborhood."

"My daily commute is from Anaheim to Newport. It’s congested the freeway is always crowded and I need to make sure to leave before 7:00am so that I miss the heavy work traffic. "

"Very quiet and calm. Lots of Families live here. great and quiet neighbors. Feels safe to live in the area and everything is close by car. In and Out, Starbucks, El Torito, etc. Seven minute drive to Disneyland, the block, Angel stadium, Santa Ana College, Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton. 15 minutes you are in Tustin, Irvine and Brea. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have gone to this school from preschool through 8th grade. We have seen many changes throughout the years but the basic concept remains the same...the love of Jesus! The 7th/8th grade teacher, Mr. H (he's also the principal) really cares about the children. He is available by phone even in the evenings to assist with homework questions. I don't know of any other teacher who provides that kind of service. CCA is a small school so the kids are close to one another and for the most part, know each other's names regardless of what grade they are in. One of my sons is now in public high school and is doing great academically as well as socially. This school is a great alternative to homeschooling. It allows kids to interact with one another in a small setting. Four stars instead of five because I wish they had a better lunch program. Call them with your questions and ask to visit if you are interested in an affordable Christian school as an alternative to public school. God bless. :)Parent Review9y ago7 Reviews - THE MONTESSORI ACADEMY OF ANAHEIM
