I was a student at Dan Mini Elementary School from kindergarden to the 6th grade. I had the most amazing Teachers. It was a excellent School back then as I am sure it still is . The teachers cared about us as a Individual, Took the time to spend with each one of us. They cared about our home life. We had a camp callled Camp Gawalla. It was a great time and made The most wonderful memories.

When I was a student her I learned that I can't be the best without asking for help at times that I need to here in loma vista it felt like family.

I have loved the TK and Kindergarten experience so far. The staff has been very communicative and engaging, and really care about the students' well-being. New buildings are being constructed that will help to provide even better spaces for the students to learn and play!

I had to remove both my kids from Napa Junction due to lack of care and concern for my kids overall education. The principal was more concerned about her social status than my children’s wellbeing and education! I fought tooth and nail with the school & NVUSD to get my children’s the help and support an entire school year but they denied my children support and even proper staff and made it look like they were “on paper” but myself, other parents and even aids we’re reporting these issues, but it wasn’t a priority to them. Since I’ve pulled my children out of NVUSD it has been night and day and I wish I did so sooner!

I'm a parent/volunteer yard duty at Canyon Oaks. It may be just luck, but my son has had amazing teachers for the 3 years he's attended. They've helped him with his struggles and I've seen real improvement. As a yard duty, I interact with nearly all the students. The administration's guidance for how we guide behavior is refreshing, which is focused on positive reinforcement and social/emotional learning.
