"Neighborhood is decent and lots of diversity. The HOA leaves much to be desired and not Al community members respect the looks and common spaces."

"Plenty of parks and open areas for dogs to run around. Sidewalks are new & well constructed. It is a newer community & growing rapidly. "

"You always see dog owners walking with their dogs in the mornings and the evenings. You might not like that others don’t pick up after their dogs "

"What’s unique is people walk around looking for things to take from peoples property, and nothing has changed with in the last year "

"Lived here for over 3 years and I love it here. Quiet area during the day and at night as well. Not far from schools and grocery stores. "

"I've lived here for 3 years. Other than drivers running 67th Ave is a drag strip, the area is nice and quiet. The homes are well-designed, and plenty of good schools nearby. I hope a mall and movie theater open up closer by, though. Right now, the nearest movie theater is 99th Ave and McDowell."

"Had a dog I always walked at the local park in the evenings, not too packed just a few joggers & a local mini soccer team practicing. Very safe."

"There is a large park that is always kept clean with stops specifically made for people with dogs, doggy bags available. There are always people walking their pets, I even take my dog every other day & never run into any issues. People jogging, kids playing, local sports teams practicing. It is located directly behind a high school & next to some farms. No real danger found like more inner city neighborhoods."

"normally great access to i-10, 101 & i-17 until recently when it has been terrible due to the 202 west freeway construction. but when its finished, it will be awesome"

"My neighbors have some parties, but we are not invited. We likely would not attend, so that is fine. We have lived here for almost 20 years and only had 2-3 times a party near us was fairly loud."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood since it opened in 2001. Many families have come and gone, but there have been consistency on my street. The South Mountain 202 is going to be a great connecting freeway close to the neighborhood."

"Unique? We have an HOA that does nothing to upkeep the neighborhood but still collects HOA fees every month. (Cars constantly parked in the streets so an accident is waiting to happen since you have to squeeze through 2 rows of cars and pray someone isn't coming the other way or kids aren't about to run out from behind the cars you cant see passed. Trash is dumped all over the place from couches to beds. Neighbors have weeds waist level all around the community. So in my opinion an HOA that does absolutely nothing is pretty "unique""

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really really like this school for my child. She is truly thriving and she loves school. I have only ever came across teachers who truly care about the students. The admin team is very pleasant and very involved. I just love this school for my child. My daughter's teachers, The admin team, the office staff, the special area teachers, the champion teachers, they are all great! When you have an educator background, you pay attention and recognize certain things in schools. Every school is not perfect, but as an educator I love this school for my child.Parent Review4mo ago2 Reviews - Tuscano Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average7/28/2025 I came to register/enroll my children in this school. We are new to the area. Their attitudes and phone etiquette was unwelcoming, then they tell you to ring bell and they will buzz you in. Once buzzed in they do not greet, they do not smile, responses are quick, with just seeing how unprofessional the office staff is makes you wonder about the school and your child's safety and education. If the office personnel has not been addressed of their actions, I can just imagine what type of teachers they have or how they are treating are children. I have a special needs son, I was asking certain questions and even the responses I received had me questioning the safety of my special needs son. I will be looking into other schools within the area first. The presence and attitude of your front staff alone place doubt in a parents mind. What a way to start off the school year representing your school. The office staff alone is part of your low school ratings.Parent Review9mo ago3 Reviews - Western Valley Elementary School
