Great school great teachers very diverse and I love that !!!

Rocky Ridge is an excellent school. I have 1 child there now and another who has gone on to Berry Middle School. My child who is now at Berry was thoroughly prepared for middle school. She has had a smooth transition, thanks to the excellent teachers at Rocky Ridge. Both my kids are totally different so I can honestly say I've experienced both case scenarios. My child who needs extra attention academically, gets it. My child who catches on easier, was challenged. I couldn't be happier with Rocky Ridge. The teachers are truly awesome and care about the children. Also love that they introduce and encourage technology.

Having kids at SMES for the past 6 years, this school has went from a shining jewel on the mountain, to an absolute miserable experience for both parents and students under Melissa Hadder’s failed leadership. If I had to endure one more year under this woman’s incompetence, I would honestly sell my house and move to a different school district. To those moving into the area, or unfortunate enough to have kids stuck at SMES, may God have mercy on you all.

SDS is a great school full of great teachers and a wonderful director who cares about every student in the school. SDS gives opportunities to kids practicing public speaking, leadership, reading and summarizing / writing reports, geography, Saxon math (great choice). Weekly they have small projects to return. And the best part that kids are writing cursive every project they return, so they know how to use / hold pencil in their hands (and you hear from parent who has a corporate job and using laptop all day long).SDS is a big family! Great school!
