6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average2024-2025 school year has been the worst of it all I am considering transferring my child. The lack of teaching and administration has gone down hill to the point I don’t feel as if my child is safe at the school. The teachers seem as if they do not want to be there and some are not suitable for small children.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Chalkville Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI transferred my daughter from West end academy to sun valley and it was the biggest mistake I could of ever done. She was doing great made the honor roll and all but as soon as she got to sun valley her grades have declined very drasticallyParent Review8y ago8 Reviews - Integrity Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, I believe that the teachers and staff at this school are great people. However, there are some challenges that create barriers to student success. For instance, no homework is assigned, and Google Classroom is the primary tool used for communication. As a parent, I feel that I cannot be as involved in my child's education as I would like, because we are not provided with detailed information about what they are learning or covering in school. We can only get a very general idea by checking Google Classroom. Additionally, textbooks are not brought home, and the updates and information on the parent portal are inconsistent depending on the staff member. I also do not see enough flexibility and accommodations being made for students with 504s and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Although there are attempts made for these students, it seems like there is a lack of understanding or support for the conditions for which the 504s and IEPs are established. I would not expect experts on specific conditions, but some fundamental barriers that come with learning disabilities and executive dysfunction seem to be viewed as annoyance and defiance. With multiple children who have attended this school, it was most heartbreaking watching my child with executive dysfunction struggle emotionally and academically here. From many other parents I have spoken to regarding 504s and IEPs, the general consensus is that public schools handle and enforce them much more consistently when compared to charter and private schools.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Roebuck Park Christian School
