We have one alumni of and one current student at CCHS. They have both taken full advantage of what CCHS has to offer in terms of academics and activities! Our children are very different from each other in terms of academic tracks and interests. CCHS has offered them both the ability to take the pathway that best fits their aspirations and interest areas. They have: taken AP courses, attended Warren Tech, participated on sports teams(no cut) football, basketball, poms, cross country. track, and baseball, participated in theatre productions fall and spring, and been members of various bands(concert/jazz) as well as choirs(concert/specialty). They have also participated in various school clubs and organizations like student government. Our experience at CCHS has been and continues to be amazing! We are so grateful for the teachers, coaches, counselors, and administrators that have worked with our children over the years! If you are looking for a more personalized HS experience CCHS is it!

Our time at King-Murphy was truly the best. The staff are extremely supportive of all the students. We felt very involved in our child’s education and feel he is prepared for the transition to middle school.

Georgetown Community School is an exceptional school that truly prioritizes student belonging, academic achievement, service learning, and outdoor education. The teachers are dedicated, supportive, and deeply invested in helping every child grow both academically and personally.My daughter has loved every teacher she has had at GCS, and we have been continually impressed by the meaningful projects, hands-on learning opportunities, and high level of student engagement throughout the school. The school creates an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, and build confidence in their abilities.What stands out most is the strong sense of community and the commitment to helping students succeed while fostering kindness, curiosity, and resilience. We feel incredibly fortunate to have a school like Georgetown Community School here in Clear Creek County.

Both of our children attended CCMS and took advantage of all it has to offer! Small class sizes, supportive, dedicated teachers and staff, so many opportunities for learning (set up for HS), and MS sports, music, and theatre. Our children participated on the football and basketball teams, as well as the band, choir, and theatre groups. Their/and our middle school experience was positively excellent!
