This school is terrible and lunches suck. The only thing good is the JROTC program, and most of the teachers are not good. There is nothing to this school and it's vending machines only work half the time. It needs better rules and all of the classes are boring. There are too many things that this school has wrong and its just not a good school.

The athletic programs are a mess. No consistency. The basketball program had all kids on the honor roll - puts education and the kids first. This year our son was told by the football coach that they would be benched for participating in basketball - which is something that he loves (basketball is at different times). If you are thinking of coming to JTA for football - I would look at a school and program that puts the kids and their education first.

Been here 2019 for 5th grade and sucked lowkey. Education… I learned… nothing… and I kept failing writing and somehow ended with a B… Only had 4 classes (Math, Reading, Writing, Social studies) and writing was the worst since all we did was 3.8 paragraphs the entire year (not learning actual writing. Only read three things in reading class the entire (The color book about racism) (Toothbrushes and their history) (How recycling is healthy and not) BoRiNg… No science or english class…Social studies was the only good class learning atleast something new sometimes… Literally the same stuff all year and nothing new…

I love the teachers and staff at this school. I really feel they have my daughters best interest in mind. They work well to keep her learning on track and pushing her to work to her highest capability all while keeping it fun! She loves her teachers and has a great new experience everyday! The school is also really great about offering experiences for parents to get involved in their child's learning and how to best help your child succeed! Such a great school!
