7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor how little funding Cascade gets, its doing really well. The teachers are amazing and most of them genuinely care for students beyond just school. However, Cascade does not have much discipline given out by the administrative level hence why many students continue to be disinterested in learning and thereby decreasing the overall performance of Cascade. This decline causes the school to gain very little funding almost every year and cut many of its crucial academic programs instead of expanding and adding more. Overall, the teachers try very hard to make students feel welcome and to teach students. However, the Everett Public Schools district and Cascade Administrative Team continuously makes poor decisions causing us to become a school that doesn't have a lot to offer compared to other schools in the area. Furthermore, administrators are not very strict on rules and regulations making students feel free to discriminate and even ensue violence against others. This is what lead me to not recommend Cascade as a school to attend if you are given the choice. Again, the teachers are amazing, its just the administrators and district employees that have screwed us over.Student Review1y ago8 Reviews - Gateway Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school sucks so incredibly bad. I told the councilor I was having serious mental issues and he barely talked to me and the made me write it out on a paper for my parents to see. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur kindergarten teacher was amazing and now so is 1st grade! The staff have been great supports for my son and worked well with him on controlling his impulses and behavior. My only complaint is that there are very few and small consequences for students when they misbehave. My son has had a few big problems but the school consequences for his behavior has been minimal or none at all. (Of course we had consequences at home!) It sometimes feels like the needs of a few outweigh the needs and rights of the majority at this school in terms of problematic behavior and needs.Parent Review1y ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near Lot 63 Unknown.

"nice trail to walk your dogs behind some neighborhoods b towards town center. At the start is McCollum Park."

"There is a mix of apartments and houses. I’ve lived here for over a year and it’s a beautiful area but the houses are very close together and the apartments are pretty crammed. The area is a bit expensive and there is more construction happening each week. It feels very city-like and it’s becoming a bit excessive. Fourth of July is horrendous with the fireworks even though there are hundreds of thousands of trees around. Just too many people."

"Very respectable neighborhood. Don’t expect to on first named terms with many neighbors, or a friendly chat at the local store or even a ‘hi there’ on an evening walk from the couple across the road. It’s clean and tidy apart from rabbits and their droppings and very quiet. "

"Lots of families, great parks etc. Many people move here to benefit from the supportive family environment. It’s important that families coming into the area continue this sense of community for generations to come. "

"I work north of my home so I have a reverse commute—and it’s great. Less than 20 minutes to get there along backroads and through farmland with great scenery. "

"No special events as a community. We have held common garage sales; kids in the neighborhood host lemonade stands periodically; we walk our dogs a lot. Neighbors chat with each other when out on walks in the neighborhood. "

"I recently moved to Mill Creek with my new wife and we couldn't be more pleased. If you are younger or older there is always activities to be had. From golf to walking the town center. There are many groceries and 5 star restaurants close by. For you that have children it is extremely safe with an outstanding school district. "
