Loved it. I wish DR.Oak didn’t retire the year I graduated from their.

Not good i feel they have & still are letting us down. I also see that since the law has come up with no child letter behind they have just been passing a lot of children that are not making the grades & that can not keep up. I do know this first hand i have a son that is 20 special needs & he can not Read it write but he was passed & out out here & he rose not have the tools to make it out here in the real world.

Highly motivated staff. Excellent connections to the wider community with mentoring and after-school programs. Peaceful, positive environment.

This school has helped me so much. I went from getting straight C's to straight A's and the teachers are very helpful. I did feel like I wouldn't fit in because I am a different race than most of the students that go here, but I've fit in perfectly and made lots of friends. I've experienced no bullying here or anything and the teachers are also great. I was nervous about this school at first from what I had heard about it, but now I love it and wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

The school has excellent leadership & teaching staff. I've seen a great deal of improvement in my son's reading ability plus the have a solid instrumental program. The school principal is by far the best I've seen in the two districts my son has attended

This school is phenomenal. We are so fortunate to go here. Our daughter loves school, has made wonderful friends. From the first week the teachers all seem to know every child by name. Students are greeted each morning with an all-school assembly with drumming, singing, a welcome message by the Principal, and the school rock band rocking out. Its a fantastic way to start the day! There are tons of field trips, lots of art and music incorporated into each day. We love it here!

Excellent school, great service, for anyone looking to settle down in the highland park area
