4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school seriously needs to re-evaluate how their staff treats student. It's very obvious that certain students get singled out and spoken to in a rude, dismissive, and even demeaning way, while others are treated with patience and respect. They have a toxic environment where kids feel targeted too. I would not recommend this school at all.Parent Review7mo ago8 Reviews - Ottomon Way Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending Ottoman since Kindergarten, and will have his last year as a 5th grader here soon. Due to the area we lived, this was the school he was assigned to, in which I learned about the artful learning program. As a single parent, and also diagnosed with ADHD as a child - the artful learning program is so supportive of children at this young age to really grow their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The level of support from the teachers, principals and staff has been outstanding! They truly understand and protect children’s educational needs as a whole and even at an individual level. Ottoman is so supportive, communicative and caring - without the politics! They truly put children’s needs first, even when behavioral issues arise, they work from a perspective of emotional intelligence - understanding that the child needs to receive more support versus disciplinary actions that can derail and set a child back. The teachers communicate with the parents well, while the principal is very active and is willing to offer personalized support to parents and children who express the need. Ottoman is also willing to work with both parent and child on their individual needs, even when my child expressed anxiety being in a higher reading group - we were able to make the change to build up his confidence and place him in a different group where he felt more comfortable. Further, the Bridges Afterschool on site program is the most amazing place with excellent staff that helps your child with homework, physical activity, games, meals and fun activities. As a working parent the support has been phenomenal, and I am proud that my child has the opportunity to attend this amazing school with a unique learning program, staff, and a principal that truly caresParent Review2y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near Creek Oaks Ln.

"The neighborhood is filled with residents that have been here for many years. There is a nice mix of young families and older folks. You can walk or bike around safely, the the sidewalks and roads could use a little work. "

"Weekly Local Farmers Market and monthly classic car show in the lot by DQ. Country Fair and Parade at Orangevale Community And Equestrian Park. This is a safe environment where families walk their dogs and children on weekends and weekdays in the evenings. Many neighborhoods have an acre of land for each home and many have horses. There are several riding arenas and lessons available. Houses range from 350-1.4 million. "
