The Neighborhood:

The H Street corridor has a long and storied history in Washington, DC. First built in 1849, it became one of the city's busiest commercial hubs in the mid-20th century, then saw its fortunes decline after the riots of 1968. Since 2000, the area has been the scene of a remarkable revitalization that has attracted many of DC's young professionals and families to make their homes here. Today, H Street features a vibrant nightlife, some of the city's best restaurants, and the family friendliness of Capitol Hill, DC's largest residential neighborhood - all just blocks from the US Capitol, monuments, and the heart of the city. We love living here, and we're sure you'll love visiting!

Getting Around:
Parking: The area has plenty of free street parking, and a guest pass can be provided to you upon request!

METRO: The closest stop is at Union Station. The easiest way to get to the Metro is to take the free DC Streetcar, which stops steps from your door and takes you a quick 7 blocks to Union Station. Or it's a lovely 15 minute walk on a beautiful day in the city.

Bus: The closest METRO bus stop is only steps away at the corner of 8th & F Streets NE.

The nearest station is two blocks away, at 8th and F Streets NE.

Uber/Lyft: Uber & Lyft response times are generally less than 5 minutes in the area.
Lime, Bird, Lyft, and Uber JUMP scooters (and bikes) are readily available on nearly every corner of the city wherever you can find one, find & rent them easily using their app and your smartphone.

Walking: DC is one of America's great walking cities - it's truly small enough to see on foot if you have the time! We're about a 20 minute walk to the US Capitol, and just beyond are the National Mall and the monuments...

Other Things to Note:
Pet is allowed, but there will be an additional non-refundable pet fee of $80.00 per pet per stay for a maximum of a five (5) night stay for the extra work involved in the cleaning and other related services related to the pet(s). Also, if your stay is more than five (5) nights, a fee of $10 per additional night per pet will apply.
