6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI taught here for about a year and a half a while ago and this is easily the worst school ive been a part of in my 10 year career so far. The head principal does not care whatsoever for his teachers, gives no time off, no forgiveness for medical emergencies, and no willingness to work with you if you need to deal with a sick family member even if you're willing to take unpaid time off since the school gives you next to nothing and expects you to be there no matter what. The training programs offered are ran by absolutely clueless teachers making any teacher new to the school absolutely clueless on what their expectations are in the classroom. There's constantly unsupervised students roaming the halls and hiding in the bathrooms as well but if you report them to the principal youre in trouble for not taking care of it yourself. If you can avoid this school please do at all costs, your child doesnt deserve to go to such a hate filled place!Teacher Review3mo ago18 Reviews - North Ridge Elementary

"Green space, walking trails adjacent. Can take the trail directly from townhouse to Shelly Lake. Dog friendly. Nice neighbors"

"Shelly lake is nearby. A nice area to go for a walk. The area has great schools. Children shouldn’t be too noisy living in the condo buildings since they’re older buildings, and you can hear what the neighbors are doing"

"There are many family oriented community activities and events that take place throughout the year, and such a great quality environment to be surrounded with, especially the nice parks! The area is one of the best locations Raleigh has to offer in my opinion! It is a short distance to any of the surrounding towns/cities as well. While the communities are constantly building/growing/expanding around us, it is still such a quiet/peaceful neighborhood."

"Yes, North Raleigh, located in North Carolina, United States, is known for having some excellent schools. The area is home to several highly regarded public and private educational institutions. These schools often offer rigorous academic programs, extracurricular activities, and resources to support students' learning and growth. It's worth noting that school quality can vary within any given area, so it's important for individuals to research and consider specific schools based on their unique needs and preferences."

"This is an older, established neighborhood where all generations interact and connect - but without the cookie-cutter look and overly-planned environment. Safe streets for walking, running, and riding bikes. Close to great shopping, restaurants, and schools."

"I don’t have much of an opinion on what I think is important for parents to know as I don’t have any children of my own. I think this area appears to be safe and pleasant for children as far as I have observed. Kids play outside with and without parent supervision and it seems everyone feels very safe and protected and neighbors seem to keep vigil about the surroundings in general. "
