Description

Save a ton on your PG&E bill as this home has 30 solar panels on the roof!

Lovely bungalow with freshly painted living spaces, huge backyard with mature fruit trees, hot tub, built-in grill, and chicken coop, situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood with good neighbors who look out for each other. All appliances in working order, brand new washer and dryer in unit. Home is on a cul-de-sac with very little thru traffic. Lots of space in the yard for the kids and dog to run around if you have em; yard also has multiple raised garden beds ready to go for the Spring and summer growing seasons! There is a chicken coop (currently empty but you can choose to get some chickens if planning on renting long term) it also has a large pergola with an outdoor kitchen complete with grill, sink and single stove top. Large empty garage with plenty of storage space and nice side yard great for an outdoor workout space or hobby space.

House has solar so you will save a lot in electric bill every month. You pay all utilities. This is a smoke free home but plenty of areas outside for you to sit and enjoy a smoke. Dogs are allowed, Separate pet deposit required. No cats permitted because owner is highly allergic!

Home is very close to freeway, Winco, Lucky's and Lone Tree shops and restaurants are a 5 minute drive away. Very convenient location, also only 15 minutes away from Kaiser Antioch Medical Center.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

1)You have to pass a credit and background check with application! Tours will only be scheduled if you meet the preliminary requirements. (Zillow applications preferred as it provides background check and credit report already).

2) Cost to move in: First month's rent plus security deposit.

3) Names of all inhabitants must be provided and listed on lease agreement and no other inhabitants other than those listed may live on property.

4) 1 year lease preferred with possibility of renewing lease in a per year or per 6 month basis.

5) Renter will be responsible for upkeep of entire property as this is a house and not an apartment. This includes yard maintenance and landscaping for both front and back of house. Property had a dedicated landscaper with very reasonable quarterly rates if interested.

Serious inquiries only please. Thanks for looking!

Owner pays water and garbage, renters responsible for bringing their trash bins out and back in on trash days.

Solar is leased by owner but renter pays for their own PG&E (any use that goes beyond what solar panels do not cover).

No smoking inside the house.

Parking: one car garage plus two cars can fit on driveway. Plenty of street parking as well.

Neighbors are older so no loud, disruptive behavior allowed. Property is completely fenced and shares fences with 5 different neighbors, so if you have dogs, please be mindful of their barking and aggressive behavior as neighbors have dogs that roam their yards too.

"We have usually over 150+ truck or treaters on Halloween. Homes decorated for special holidays such as Halloween and Christmas for home contests within our neighborhood. We have annual block parties for neighbors to get to know each other. Trunk or treat, Christmas tree lighting and Santa photos for kids. It’s a great community where we live. "
  • Bailee Wadsworth

"We have neighborhood parks, residents walk their dogs on leash, for the most part owners pickup after their dogs. There’s a dog park within walking distance from our neighborhood."
  • Sf9rs4lf
"Quite, safe, kids friendly, slow pace living not like the city .very relaxing place to live and enjoy. Specially if you have kids and enjoy the hot warm weather for swimming and doing all the summer activities ."
  • Brendalynfoster
"they would like that I pick up after my dog & am always making sure everything is clean and I am very nice and friendly "
  • Jazamora550
"Dog owners should be more aware of their dog barking when home and when not at home. A lot of them are inconsiderate. We all would like to come home and be able to enjoy the rest of the day without hearing the barking. "
  • Trulia User
"Dogs are always seen on leashes and owners pick up their dogs messes. You can walk in the neighborhood undisturbed "
  • Tee V.
"Pet friendly neighborhood. Good schools, and all the shops surrounding. Good to be close to all the fun events like Movie night, summer concert nights, Friday night birds, weekend farmers markets, and the city-hood vendor fair on Main Street...love this!!! Wish for less new building, and more enhancing of what is already her. Yet, we found use a family fun facility, and a Whole Foods!!!!!!!"
  • Rebecca_odessky
"In my neighborhood people don’t always follow the dog on leash law. I feel dog owners would not like that. "
  • Alphonzo B. J.
"I've lived here for 15 years! All neighborhoods are built differently. My neighborhood has spacious living. We are not crammed together and parking is available. My neighbors have many types of cultures and a variety of ages. Well respected and safety conscious!"
  • Nick O.
"The city is growing and a great place to raise a family. Commuting to Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose is terrible. "
  • Cuti5683
"Court party, neighbors, dog parks, Memorial Day event at the city hall, although it would be nice if they let the Freedom band march. Also, the noise from Laurel Road Sucks."
  • Jason L. S.
"No in neighborhood community events to speak of. The city of Oakley itself has many regular events , and always something special planned for all traditional and diverse holidays."
  • Kelly W.
"We are moving to Brentwood after being here 4 years. City is building storage and gas stations on every corner. 6 BR homes with 6 cars parked in front. Agriculture being forced out so more homes can be built. Sad."
  • Daisy T.
"Halloween, community garage sale, 4th of July block parties & firework show. Clean park and great school."
  • Blloyds311
"Great place to live. We have a great community with friendly people who seem to care about the well being of others. The quality of the house is second to none because the builder pays attention to detail. "
  • Tina M. N.

  • Anne C. S.
"The commuting is easy by bus, bart, or car but only if you take the time to explore all the possibilities available. One favorite of mine is the pub crawl on bike done in the summer."
