The ideal Colorado living: 15 minutes to Estes Park, 30 minutes to Boulder, and Longmont. Loveland: 40-45 minutes. Denver 60-75 minutes, depending on where the destination may be. All drives are easy with few stops/lights. Only 2 minutes from Highway 36 on a well-maintained road.

We have over 1 private acre up a road that is not far from the highway (yet we hear minimal audible traffic noise) in a lovely box canyon with no traffic. National forest is behind us. 1 Bdrm plus a bonus room! Convenient laundry. Gorgeous tongue and groove wood paneling. Quality furnishings and extras. Turn-key ready. Most furniture can be stored if you want to use your own. The bedroom furniture is massive, prefer not to store it. The mattress can be stored.

Enjoy a warm, quiet space adjacent to national forest: a separate apt with an abundance of space, natural light, and wrap-around decks. The friendly owner and two dogs reside on the second floor: they are quiet and accommodating. A large fenced area for dogs. There is a lot of natural light. It is not a basement. The space has had construction since these pictures were taken to completely separate the space: done with the same tounge and groove hand woodwork.

This beautiful space was a well-loved and popular Airbnb destination. You can check the many positive comments about the property owner on the Airbnb site by inputting a 30 day search for Lyons after Oct 1.

Nature's wildlife is in abundance. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers and remote workers. Internet/WiFi is excellent. Come have a look and fall in love with our lifestyle. Or decide if it is for you?

The unit comes mostly furnished and with a stocked kitchen. 80-90% of the furniture and all the kitchen items can be stored in the garage. The listed price is for 1 person. The rent would be + $100 for a second person and an extra $50 for utilties for a second person.

SUMMARY:
The total price for 1 person would be $1600+300 (for utilities)=$1900
The total price for 2 ppl would be $1700+350 (for utilities)=$2050
Other considerations: $2000 deposit to secure the rental, + first month, no last month payment required. $250 pet deposit per pet, $25 pet rent if approved.

No first and last required. Only the deposit and first month, plus a pet deposit, if applicable.
*The minimum lease term is through July 30, 2026. A year's lease can be signed again at the short-term leasee end, if both parties agree. Linens, cookware, everything is provided.

*No nicotine smoking indoors or near doors as the homeowner lives above and is allergic. The up and downstairs have been completely separated by construction, which is not visible in the pictures offered.

*A kind and positive tenant(s) is ideal. Helping with mowing and weed control is part of the lease, as well as any reasonable maintenance needs. No more than 2 vehicles. Access is easy, Front Wheel Drive is ideal at a minimum for winter driving.

    "I live in this area and it is sometimes shocking how beautiful and serene it is. Surrounded by national forests and trails, you can find stunning rock outcroppings, smooth rock rivers and fields of wild flowers. The community is respectful of privacy but extremely helpful if needed-- as witnessed in the floods. Lyons is a close 10 miles away with a vibrant art and music community and delicious restaurants. Estes park is about 15 minutes away, which is where Rocky Mountain National Park is. There is a ton of wildlife too. Definitely a slice of heaven. "
