5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. I wish I was able to pull my child from it but unfortunately it is not an option. The communication is non exisistent. We never even laid eyes on the 2nd grade teacher until awards ceremony and was never able to reach them. Barely hear from the one now or others in the past. The principal is extremely standoffish. I have not received the weekly calls in forever after giving my phone number numerous times. I can't get a straight answer on who to get to set up the powerschool or whatever it is called. Ms. Mathison Williams was the face of that school and she deservedly was promoted to principal elsewhere but it was all this school had going. Just look at the test scores! Then they just let certain students harrass and bully and do absolutely nothing about it. Please tell me how Orange County schools can possibly be the best. Not possible. If you have the ability to send your child elsewhere or homeschool do it.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Orange Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOrange middle schools treatment of special needs children is sub par and negligent along with most of the rest of Orange County schools. As someone with bipolar disorder and went to orange middle school ( it was CW Stanford at that time) I am disgusted at the accounts I have heard of mistreatment and outright disparity in treatment between neurodivergent and neurotypical children. Do NOT send your kid here if they have any kind of mental health problemsOther Review9mo ago6 Reviews - Hillsborough Elementary

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe’ve bounced around 2 different public schools and even a private school until HES. The school is amazing from the top to the bottom. We have two kids at HES finishing up their 2nd year there one kid with an IEP and one without and they both love it there.Parent Review2mo ago5 Reviews - Cedar Ridge High

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePLEASE DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. This school is filled with mean girls who judge you for every little thing. If you dont have friends you will get bullied. There is countless cases of bullying that go on in this school, the administrators do nothing about the issues, infact they ignore most of the reports and there have been countless shooting threats written in the bathroom stalls that have not been reported. Orange county need to shut this school down.Other Review1y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near Dimmocks Mill Rd #1A.

"We have had great experiences with local schools and activities downtown. We love the feel of a smaller town but within close reach of chapel hill and Durham. "

"Nothing has ever been scheduled in our neighborhood. We do have a community pool and park. It would be nice if they used these areas to plan some kind of event. "

"There are a lot of neighborhood cats running loose so watch your dogs. My dogs go nuts and sometimes they get ontop of my fence and tease my dogs "

"Everyone has wonderful dogs here. Hillsborough is a very pet-friendly area, has a great dog park in town, and lots of places to shop for your fur-babies. As an avid animal lover, I am so happy to live here and see such well-cared for pets."

"Close to Duke University (17 min. By car) and UNC. Great commute to work! There is some traffic during peak hours but it’s not an issue. I do feel this area is growing and traffic may grow too."

"We've lived in Churton Grove for 6+ years. It's a family friendly neighborhood with a pool, 2 playgrounds, walking trails and tennis/ basketball courts. It has an unofficial active Nextdoor website where neighbors communicate. It has a shopping plaza adjacent with a few food places, a grocery store and a gas station nearby. It is a short drive to the elementary, middle and high schools. There are also multiple social events for those interested. I would highly recommend Churton Grove!"
