Orange Middle School

This school is great but the teachers are sometimes rude and need to calm down and get that the kids are kids

This school is horrible. I wish I was able to pull my child from it but unfortunately it is not an option. The communication is non exisistent. We never even laid eyes on the 2nd grade teacher until awards ceremony and was never able to reach them. Barely hear from the one now or others in the past. The principal is extremely standoffish. I have not received the weekly calls in forever after giving my phone number numerous times. I can't get a straight answer on who to get to set up the powerschool or whatever it is called. Ms. Mathison Williams was the face of that school and she deservedly was promoted to principal elsewhere but it was all this school had going. Just look at the test scores! Then they just let certain students harrass and bully and do absolutely nothing about it. Please tell me how Orange County schools can possibly be the best. Not possible. If you have the ability to send your child elsewhere or homeschool do it.

My child has been in this school for 5 years and we will surely miss it. All the staff knew my child and were friendly to us too. Lots of parent support equaled lots of nice perks for the kids. I do wish there was more than one counselor though.

The people are mean they believe another person in the actual person is telling is true because your mom works there in a person that fake cry and people did it get on safety patrol kind of thing has to get kicked off. Go to a dance they can't go to and they can go and they're fake crying about something so my review is1 it should be 0 and you spend $10 for something that you can't go to refunds, please or we going to have problems on Monday

Our family had a wonderful experience at Pinewoods Montessori. As a former K-12 teacher and a current education professor, I have very high standards regarding my child's education. Pinewoods definitely exceeded those expectations with their quality educators and thoughtful communication and organization. Our child attended toddlers and primary (and after care) before we had to move out of state rather suddenly. The teachers, assistants, staff, and administrators were warm, loving, and attentive to our child's needs. Our child learned many life and academic skills, and was very happy there. We also appreciated that there was a clear procedure for everything--this organization made our lives easier. We will miss Pinewoods, and we definitely recommend this fantastic school to other families.
