4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated from this school and not once did I wish I was back at my old school, the DC field trip was amazing, the teachers are amazing (wish they transferred to my new high school) and I just had an overall good time here. this school was the best school I ever went to. honestly, class of 2029 had to be the best year (8th grade of 24-25 school year) was honestly so peak. the work isn't even hard and you don't hear of kids being bullied. fights happened maybe once or twice but that staff got right on it. so once again, that year was my most favorite year of school so far.Other Review9mo ago17 Reviews - Dilworth Elementary

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent teachers and leadership. I've had three children come through the halls of Dilworth. It has been the best experience for my children and as a parent. I cannot say enough great things about this school and the teachers who lovingly teach and care for their students.Parent Review8y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 1225 S Church St #10242.

"Plenty of walking trails in the area. Sidewalk friendly as well so walking your dog in safe places would not be a problem"

"Not enough parks with playgrounds for kids to play in. Several greenways but parks need to be improved."

"Not sure. I don’t socialize in this neighborhood. It’s close to anything you want is within a few miles. Sidewalks and parks are in good conditions. "

"There are so many other dogs to play with, and residents are very tolerant of dogs, even in the luxury condo and rental buildings. Lots of green areas, but a shortage of enclosed dog runs (unless you live at Skyhouse) which will hopefully be remedied. A few spots where you can bring your pup to lunch or happy hour, from the casual Corner Pub to the upscale Ink n Ivy."

"We walk to nearly everything we need from groceries to doctors, entertainment to nightlife. Light rail extends the walkable area. Getting into car traffic is mostly optional."

"Many buildings and communities here organize their own events around food, beer/wine, pets, yoga, etc. There are also 4th Ward tours and events. Tryon Street hosts multiple street festivals throughout the year."

"I was kind of worried that the area would be a ghost town after work. It's not. There are enough hotels, restaurants, entertainment open until 10 or 11 pm that if I have to walk home alone I still feel safe."

"Leafiness, established trees, a couple miles to all sorts of retail. Not too far out, not so close in as to be expensive. Very safe feeling."
