"I live and work in this area and we love it more and more each year. It is close to uptown (sporting events, kids activities, etc) and you can easily walk or bike to anything within a few miles, thanks to the new Greenway. We take the Greenway all the way to Park Road Shopping Center on many weekends. We can hit coffee shops in Myers Park or Dilworth and then stop by Freedom Park to play too. The city maintains this area well and there are so many huge Pin Oak trees that make the area so pretty. There is almost no traffic on the weekends, which is great. If you work uptown, you will truly have a 5 minute commute. Many places claim a 5 minute commute, which I think is only possible in a helicopter from those sites! The cons is that there is a lot of traffic coming into the area in the mornings and out of the area in the evenings, so you have to plan your travel accordingly. There are several hospitals nearby so newbies may notice helicopter noise. "
