"Not sure. I don’t socialize in this neighborhood. It’s close to anything you want is within a few miles. Sidewalks and parks are in good conditions. "

"There are so many other dogs to play with, and residents are very tolerant of dogs, even in the luxury condo and rental buildings. Lots of green areas, but a shortage of enclosed dog runs (unless you live at Skyhouse) which will hopefully be remedied. A few spots where you can bring your pup to lunch or happy hour, from the casual Corner Pub to the upscale Ink n Ivy."

"We walk to nearly everything we need from groceries to doctors, entertainment to nightlife. Light rail extends the walkable area. Getting into car traffic is mostly optional."

"Many buildings and communities here organize their own events around food, beer/wine, pets, yoga, etc. There are also 4th Ward tours and events. Tryon Street hosts multiple street festivals throughout the year."

"Uptown is growing so fast. 50+ Increase in local population. Expensive but great! Inexpensive compared to similar cities in size and so much more to do and see! "

"There is a lot of pavement. That said there are plenty of dog runs but those can get crowded. There are plenty of owners though. "

"I walk to work so there is no issue at all. There are plenty of bikes and scooters to assist, but it's a 15 minute walk for me anyway."

"I was kind of worried that the area would be a ghost town after work. It's not. There are enough hotels, restaurants, entertainment open until 10 or 11 pm that if I have to walk home alone I still feel safe."

"Leafiness, established trees, a couple miles to all sorts of retail. Not too far out, not so close in as to be expensive. Very safe feeling."
