7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTeachers don't teach. They just give a list of assignments with no instruction. Talking to a teacher at conference and her response was that she couldn't keep up with all the kids because too many were asking her if they were doing the assignment correctly. Is that not a sign that you didn't TEACH them. And then you tell me you can't tell me what my child does in your class because too many others are asking you about the assignments. This is beyond lazy teaching. I wish we had an option to pull our kid.Parent Review12y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near ABSHER Ln.

"We have fabulous parks, restaurants, trails and recreation centers. We have some of the best schools in the nation and everything is well cared for by the city. We are a short drive to Kansas City, but definitely have the treed suburban neighborhoods that are perfect for raising families. "

"Overall Overland Park is a great area to live in the KC metro it is getting very expensive here so if you can afford to buy a house here - (that’s if you want to live here) then great. School system within Johnson county is not without flaws like everywhere else, however it is pretty good. Do the homework on the area you want to be in and find out whats important to you and go for it."

"I have lived in the neighborhood for 32 years. It’s a great place to live and raise kids. The over $5m the city spent in improvements have been well received. However we do miss our big tree, but not so much the leaves!!"

"Kids love to walk through your yard, they have no respect for boundaries. The neighbors are noisy. Grandview Ln is essentially a two way one way street due to all the cars parked alongside both sides of the street."
