  • Erin Doyle
"Everywhere in Vegas takes one hour to get to. Construction is inevitable and eternal. During rush hour bring a book and a bag of rage snacks. "
  • Josue Perez
"This place has lots of activities for kids plenty to do not as much as California unfortunately but it is growing "
  • Melissa Davis
"I’ve lived in vegas for 3.5 years now, it’s nice in the southwest area, I feel safe and the crime is low, I can walk my dogs without fear. It’s a quiet area "
  • R Snow
"Too much smoking . Everywhere is smoking. Gross. Literally everywhere. Fine to live for a few years, but that’s it "
  • Bada84029
"Looks pet friendly however it’s extremely hot so cold weather breeds would not do well in summer heat here."
  • Happy Neighbor
"Dog owners would likely appreciate living this neighborhood with ample green spaces, such as parks or open fields, where they can walk and play with their dogs. Access to pet-friendly amenities like dog parks or pet stores would also be a plus. On the flip side, they might not like living in an area with strict leash laws or limited access to outdoor spaces suitable for dogs. Issues like noisy environments, lack of sidewalks, or unfriendly neighbors could also be drawbacks for dog owners."
  • Divyne Medina
"There are a lot of drug addicts in my neighborhood, as well as homeless people. A lot of dogs that have gotten loose (they’re typically sweet). And I see the cops quite a bit. "
  • Glenisa Whirley
"Good place to live o my dear friends in this world and you can do anything to help us in the future if we "
  • Alejandra
"I live there for little bit of time but it is a very nice and quiet place. Like living in two different worlds at the same time. I recommend this area specifically if you have family. Little kids are safe here. "
  • Trulia User

"I Love the neighborhood. You’ll love it too. Classic car shows and farmers markets are every weekend."
  • Trulia User
"There are many differences dogs in the area. It’s safe and the neighborhood is dog/cat friendly! Many people give dogs treats to the dogs in the neighborhood. You’d be happy with this neighborhood with all the dogs! There are some neighbors that break the SJ township ordinance and have 10 dogs that are often known to bark at 5am in the morning! "
  • Trulia User
"the people are very friendly kind and the stores are local , community is ive been living in here for almost 2 weeks now I love it"
  • Trulia User

  • Trulia User
"It’s a necessity to have a car in this area. I commute 20 minutes to and from work every day. Public transit exists, but is minimal, and would not get me to my job."
  • Trulia User
"it's close to the Las Vegas strip, restaurant, CVS longs drugs store & many small businesses to see or to start a business in this area. I give it a 10+."
  • Trulia User
"There are a lot of Pit Bulls not on leashes and there are a lot of children. I feel like it is unsafe and no one seems to mind other than myself."
  • Trulia User
"You need a car to get around in this area. There is limited public transport. It is possible to walk to parts of the neighborhood, but it can be dangerous later in the day."
  • Trulia User
"you often see other people out walking with their dogs, it's clean on the streets and people pickup after their dogs "
  • Trulia User
"Yes it's a good experience yo live there for 5 months. It's a great place to live and enjoy the fun and relaxing things. You can also find a great place to stay in the area "
  • Trulia User
"it's fine to start out in this area because it can be cheaper But all together there is alot of homeless and crime I. the area and not very quiet."
  • Trulia User
"It’s safe. Close to the strip but far enough to be away from the grittiness. On the cusp of Henderson so we benefit with the parks. "
  • Trulia User
"Still new here. But it seems like the Community supports one another and they own personal privacy and that is a very nice feeling "
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood is relatively quite, not too many dogs, people are friendly for the most part and crime seems to stay at a minimum. But I have to say, do not expect any packages you forgot to bring in the house over night, cause they definitely wont be there."
  • Trulia User
"It's not the best of areas. I'm a 33 year old martial artist and I don't feel safe! Not good schools and very unsafe! keep to the North West, South West! "
  • Reese
"I like this area and feel safe. My dog and I walk in the area and people are friendly. It can get sketchy in the surrounding neighborhood but once you're inside the ranch it feels safer."
  • Reggie D.
"Good neighborhood, have everything you need close by and freeway access, airport and the strip........"
  • DeShawn D.
"The schools are decent. There is a Pacific Islander influence here. I love it! It reminds me of Guam and Hawaii."
  • Catherine E.
"the park for neighborhood children was completely renovated an cleaned up as well as the doggy park inside. There was a tall gate put up around the entire park as well to keep all the kids that play there safe while on the park grounds which puts parents at ease when there loves ones are there. "
  • Leanne S.
"Good neighbors and kids for my kids to play with. They ride bikes and climb our tree. We look out for each other’s kids. Most people slow down while driving on our street."
  • Pkendo69
"There are many families here, bus routes and it’s a fairly safe neighborhood. Sunset park is nearby and this neighborhood is very centrally located. The homes are zoned for Silverado HS."
  • Genie M.
"I've lived here for almost 3 yrs and I have not heard of any type of events nor have I hardly seen anyone decorate for any holidays. You hardly get a "Hello" from any neighbors, and everyone constantly speeds in the area with complete disregard for the safety of the children that do try to come outside and play every once in a blue moon. when people pick their kids up after school it's a complete nightmare, with people blocking driveways and standing in your yard. there is literally only one lady that I know for a fact in this neighborhood that goes around and picks up trash and dog feces, her own dog and others who leave it behind. The only good comment I can say about this neighborhood is that it can be quite at times. However, we do get a lot of solicitations here!!! "
  • Nancy L.
"this is a very diverse community. it's a mix of different cultures. You are close to everything and you are very close to the strip. There's a lot of great places to eat and a lot of great places to visit."
  • Thelmstadt
"The things that make our neighborhood special is its age and the people. The vegetation is established and people maintain their properties."
  • KayCee
"Nothing special about the area adide from it's close to the strip. I guess we're just lucky to have good and nice neighbors. Kids from 3 and up are everywhere and 80% of them are very rude and do not have parents watching them. "
