I've come to realizing there are a lot of politics involved in these school ratings. I learned that schools have to pay a "membership" fee to get accreditations, if they don't pay thier school loses accreditation. People assume that means the school is bad like I did, it doesn't! Also a student just confirmed there are AP classes at the school, but one of the ratings are low for Harlan because they claim there are no AP classes. Nonetheless, my point is don't rely on these national "rating" systems to determine the quality of the schools. They give favorable ratings and accreditations to schools who pay thier "membership" fees and low ratings to schools who don't to make you believe the school is subpar

The staff makes the school the principal is very rude I think she thinks every parent that she comes across she has to talk to them in a disrespectful manner I kinda glad she declined my son offer letter she let her personal reasons for me come between my son education she does not accept accountability she interrupted me in a conversation which is very rude you are to let the person finish then you respond no she has to talk loud over you to get her point across which is not what I want my child to experience I want my child to understand in order to give respect you have to give it I don’t think many people are complaining about her enough because I’m sure with that type of leadership she has she shouldn’t be in the position again the staff is the reason it’s definitely not her if you deal with difficult parents you don’t take it out on other parents an I felt that’s exactly how she treated me she had WRONG information then when confronted she played victim an my child suffered
