It's not our neighborhood school, but I do want my son to learn something that he's interested in, while in HighSchool...do you recommend this school?

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGranted these events took place years ago but I feel like it should be spoken about, a 1st grader was placed in cuffs in the school for a fight by a security officer Robert tower hired. Him and his best clown buddy Tyson would always pick on the male students and give special treatment to the female students. Threatening to slap me while I was a student and also threatening to toss me down the stairs. This might seem like I’m salty and I might be but do deeper research on your child’s school. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWell, I'm a student at Wendell Smith and I think Wendell smith has some very great teachers that are dedicated and actually care about the students. At the same time they cant really control us because if they could control us, our testing scores wouldn't be below average and under 80%. It's not necessarily the teachers, but the students. This school is also like this due to the enviorment. I think if we had more income than before, our school would change because we would be able to acheive more things needed, such as lockers, new books, and etc.. We would appreciate and be grateful for more things. But I love all the teachers in W.Smith. We Rock As A Team.! :)Other Review14y ago
