"Central location. most places of interest are within 15 mins or less. Rent is usually not too bad given the area."
  • Trulia User
"Need to keep dogs on leashes. People need to pick up after their dogs! Some people need to teach dogs not to run towards kids."
  • Trulia User
"there are some grassy Knolls but dog owners don't pick up after their dogs don't see too much big dogs which is good because we want to get a small dog"
  • Trulia User
"Public transportation just gets better and better on the strip and downtown. With the loop coming to the strip, airport, neighboring communities and downtown this is a game changer! "
  • Trulia User
"There are no events that makes the neighborhood special for anyone. It's not an area that is kid friendly. "
  • Joliemiriam1
"It is friendly and safe place to live. There is some social events and also, there is beautiful nature that you can enjoy spending time , ...meditation, yoga, walking,.."
  • Nicolas F.
"It is a good area, has several accesses, several parks nearby, schools, entertainment centers, markets."
  • Cesar P. O.
"Just moved here and the streets are clean, well lit, neighbors are friendly, people walk or jog in the mornings, lots of restaurants and corner stores, supermarket is 5 minutes away, lots of public safety presence, I feel safe, comfortable, my family loves the location "
  • Tauri C.
"It’s quiet, very quiet. Safe. And a family neighborhood. I feel the folks stick to themselves unless they know you, but I am VERY happy living here."
  • Brittany L.
"Horrible it be a lot of police everyday All day sad but true a a lot of gang baggers I wouldn’t recommend others to move here"
  • K.A
"There’s quite a few dogs that are let out in their backyards and are often triggered by other dogs being walked. A lot of barking is heard but mostly just throughout the daytime. If you see people walking their dogs AND they pick up after them when they poo, please don’t give them dirty looks. At least they’re cleaning as they go and not leaving the droppings there. "
  • Erick P.
"Well centrally located. Lots of homeless walking around. Schools are ok. Always hearing sirens. Dispensary is close by "
  • Robinrray
"We are in Turnberry towers and they have parties in clubhouse all the time for the tenants. A lot of the local bars have fun stuff too"
  • Jen-Louise M. C.
"Well there is a growing number of homeless people squatting in a semi vacant apartment that seems pretty concerning "
  • Patricia M.
"There are many kids and families in the neighborhood. Schools very close by as well as playgrounds and dog parks."
  • Francisco S.
"Quiet. no kids playing outside. mostly old people live here. You see homeless people walking around once in a while."
  • Drumgirl32
"I work from home. The bus system is good in this area. Traffic is light even at rush hours. I don’t know what else to say. "
  • Mike J.
"Lots of dogs in the area, grassy areas and pet waste bags/cans for convenience. Not a lot of car traffic in and out of the neighborhood as it is not a through street."
  • Ginger
"I've lived here for a little less than a year and I enjoy it. there are good restaurants around, although not as many as other parts of the city, but it's very accessible to the freeway and public transport, as well as walking distance to a lot, as well."
  • Rodriguezjose86
"everybody keeps to themselves it's very peaceful and quit on the block. i am able to walk to work and back without nobody bothering me."
  • Luv E. C.
"I've been here over a year, Kids on skateboards/scooters they play in the trash bins & use grocery carts to jump locked gates to swim in the closed (padlocks are cut) pool day to night. There's no quiet time. It's the worst HOA anywhere. I'm going to go elsewhere. Additionally, I pay more than the people with rental vouchers that pile 14+ people into 1 unit. The kids damage and climb on covered parking . The problem is that the residents don't comprehend the verbiage of the "CC&R's" Thus how can they agree to them in a lease? If you can define " boisterous "? Then you don't belong. Good Luck with parking wars , drug and alcohol addicts that send the children to the pool with no adult escorts to watch them. The pool water is rarely cleaned and the it's used as a toilet for those using it. There's no bathroom unlocked anywhere & there are 3 pools. The diapers are a real turn off. Filthy mouthed young kids."
  • Shonnie H.
"The minute you drive thru the gates you can feel the temperature drop.Lush lawns, mature trees, manicured lawns and so quiet. A Brick walk path for jogging with your dog, so secure and maybe 4-5 minutes to Las Vegas Strip, you'd never know! Love mature manicured bushes around the pools for privacy. Paradise! "
  • Fvarasfrederick
"LIVE HERE, WALKABILITY IS GOOD, 7-11 NEAR BY, VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC, ETC."
