"Not always the safest place to raise kids, it would be preferential to live in a gated community if you would like to live in Pico, or live relatively close to a school. Otherwise, the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe otherwise. There are often gunshots heard and police cars making arrests. The area gets nice the closer you head towards Montebello. Just something to keep in mind as you look for nearby houses."

"The parks have a lot of events that invite the community as well as surrounding communities. We have concerts, activities, and even a farmer’s market. It’s great to see everyone come out and get together to have a good time. Not a lot of communities have this and hopefully we will be a good influence for other communities to do the same."

"I absolutely adore pico Rivera. Lots of new and upcoming establishments like food & shopping! I’ve lived here my whole life! Great teachers in the school district. Schools are close to any home.
