Most complexes have an added charge for pets—such as deposit and monthly fees. There are a lot of sidewalks and nature areas you can take your dogs to in West Campus—a great one is Pease District Park! A lot of restaurants also allow dogs in the outdoor areas."

    "West Campus is heavily influenced by university life, but is still unique to the Austin culture. This is the place to live if you want to truly experience the college life of Austin! It is mainly university students who live here. There's a lot to do within walking distance, such as restaurants, bars, and a wide variety of small music venues with shows for any musical interest. The University is part of West Campus and holds huge events such at UT football games, accompanied by tailgates and after-parties. Fraternities and co-op housing also have parties on the weekends."

West Campus living is in high demand from students, so in most cases you will get a lot less space for your money in comparison to nearby neighborhoods."
