I judge schools on more than test scores because our children are at school longer than they are at home with us. The teachers and support staff have been nothing but supportive and kind and were there for my children during some stressful moments. I may not judge a school by its test scores but my children have excelled and I believe are out of the funk many have been in since COVID. I feel this is due to the patience and hard work of the amazing teachers at Timberview. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was bullied multiple times and the school tried to blame him for instigating the situation. There minority populations SUCKS I’ve only seen about 3 black families. The crossing guards DO NOT do there job, always talking to families or allowing vehicles to run stop signs. There fundraising also sucks, they chose to make people donate money to a mediocre APEX physical challenge and the highest amount raised was $300. I asked if they sell cookies or chocolate and the answer was NO. Are you serious? Who wants to donate money for a kid to run around and win a ball for $70?!? To add 2 other schools shut down in the area @10am due to a safety issue and they didn’t notify us until 3pm that the school was on a lock out! But if you don’t mind all of these issues, or care about racial equality then this school is meant for you!Parent Review3y ago

"Totally a car city. Briargate is a planned residential community near to the Air Force Academy. 20 minutes to downtown, but Colorado Springs is a very long city along the mountains. I would not live here if you work at Peterson or Ft Carson. "

"Movies in the park, parks within walking distance, shopping close by, no traffic. Building a 11 acre recreation lake for residents.
