"We are a small community. The parks and rec are a huge part of our schools so many things are done through this. I’ve had great neighbors, most are like family. Longtime residents here. Mostly retired military. Love it here. No nonsense like in the city of Colorado Springs."

"Every year for homecoming we have a community parade. Every school walks as their group, parents walk with, even grandparents. My own neighborhood has changed. A lot have passed away and new people have moved in. It isn’t as friendly as it used to be. I grew up here. I love this area. "

"We have a community parade for homecoming with all the schools in the school district. Every 4th of July the local fire district firefighters hold a breakfast at the main firehouse. We have car shows and a community center that involves the whole community. Movies in the park that rotate through all the parks to watch. So many other things."

"My commute is peaceful with low traffic. There are very few roads that lead into and out of each neighborhood, which is nice. No one way roads to confuse the flow of traffic, and many neighborhoods connected by very few roadways. When the weather gets bad, the roads stay clean."
