3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI see many instructional leaders on this campus, such as a principal and vice principal which are very VISIBLE. They are always in hallways and throughout the campus countlessly interacting with the families who attend. Every Friday peace circles are conducted with the entire school for students and parents whom are recognized for their academics which is a great motivation for each student to attend school daily so they are not missing out on valuable information. There are also various events on campus which allows families to engage together like coffee with the principal. It allows parents to see how their children are learning, safety, equality, and ideas that thrives for improvement in all aspects for students. With cutbacks and insufficient school funding,All Staff members still choose to focus on prioritized best outcomes for their students. The Thank you to the new main office attendees who share respect and kindness for people and parents that they serve to the best of their knowledge. Community facilitator has implemented a social group (Yard Duty )so that 4th and 5th graders candidates can provide the leadership role models for Tk- 1st. The older children are teaching the young peers how to behave safety on the playground while on campus. Its also great to see the many other student support service staff who give student requiring individualized support the proper care that they deserve whether it’s inside or outside learning facilities.Every school has its issues, but this school has provided me the reassurance I need for me and my child. Thank you very much.Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Spring Valley Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has some teachers who know how to teach the subject and make it understanding when others don't. This school has a lot of students who fight for idiotic reasons and the school handles it decently. They force the different grades to go out to the field between Monday through Thursday and you don't get a say. The principal found out one of my friends lied about her grade and told her parents that she lied and that he had a boyfriend. I dont know why that was necessary. The nurse is really nice and cares for the students. The councilors are good at doing their job and even giving students fidget toys when they need it for anxiety or some other reason. I would beware of how bad some students are and how some teachers teach because some teachers don't know how to teach without the whole class understanding and some students do drugs and fight for dumb reasonsOther Review3y ago3 Reviews - Mount Miguel High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son’s schedule was full of engaging teachers who cared for their students even though at times that could be difficult given the clientele of students that attend the school. But, the teachers did care, and for the most part, it seemed as if they were making the absolute best of the situation’s in front of them. My son really wanted to play football at the school, even though I was against the sport for safety reasons, I allowed him to play because I hoped it would build his character. Boy was I wrong. The football coaching staff is flush with men taking their coaching jobs far too seriously and completely ignoring the fact that the young men on their team need social and emotional building as much as they do athletic building. coach Braswell, his coordinator on the team, was simply strange. At first glance I ignored the foul language and machismo building as just part of the deal. By the time I hoped to see the fruit of my son’s labor, I instead saw a kid afraid of his coaches, Braswell in particular, instead of inspired by them. He needed men in life that would see him as an athlete after a student, not an athlete that could be a stepping stone to a coaching job at another school, which I know a few of the coaches see as their trajectory. MMHS, do better!Parent Review8mo ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 8680 Golf Dr.

"Eucalyptus park is great and the views of the cross make for a great backdrop. There aren’t any events that stand out. Really it’s the quiet neighborhood and the views that make it grand."
