But after actually going to the school and meeting the teachers and staff I was confident my student would do well here. It's a wonderfully diverse environment. There is a focus on college preparation beginning in 9th grade. Penn treaty has many programs to support the students such as 12+, AVID, and city year. There are extra curricular activities and sports. This is a school on the rise. I really love how friendly the neighborhood is towards dog owners and how welcoming small businesses are to allowing dogs to come in/sit with owners in the outdoor dining areas.
