You don't need a car in this location just hop on your bike or walk to the National Mall, Navy Yard, Down Town or DC Universities, or take the Metro (Eastern Market Metro station services three lines). Street parking is available.

Amenities: Spacious 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with a large living room, entertainment room in the basement and lots of storage space. You can feel the history of this light-filled house with original pine floors, a large wood-burning fireplace, historic radiators and chandeliers and many period details. At the same time, it has all modern amenities, including luxury appliances, two washer-dryer sets (one on the second floor and one in the laundry room in the basement), and a Hi-Fi home theatre system in the basement with KEF surround speakers and a large flat-screen HD TV. Radiator heating / central AC cooling, a Nest controller, separate zone for the basement.

Floor Plan: The first floor has a large living room, a reading room, a dining room, a powder room and a chef's kitchen with a DCS 30 stainless steel gas stove, a DCS large fridge, a Miele dishwasher, a Bosch microwave and all the kitchen tools and cookware that you may need.
The second floor has a large master bedroom with an attached bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub, and two additional bedrooms with another, shared full bathroom with a washer and dryer.
The basement was added in 2012 and has plenty of natural light, a very large entertainment room with built-in shelves and a fridge, a laundry room, a bedroom, a full bathroom, and a storage room. It also has hydronic floor heating and an AC system that can be adjusted separately from the rest of the house. The basement has a separate entrance from the street while also being connected to the rest of the house with an interior staircase. The entertainment system in the entertainment room includes a large flat-screen HD TV and a Hi-Fi KEF surround speaker system.
The cozy English garden has an outdoor kitchen with a DCS built-in grill and a sink. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio around a large teak table that can seat at least 8.

This home is available from April 1. Preference will be given to longer term rentals (ideally one year). It's an ideal place for friends to share, e.g. young professionals or university students.
We ask that the renter pay the utilities.
Pets considered (cats and small dogs). No smoking.
One-month security deposit ($5850).
The house is fully furnished and preference will be given to tenants who do not wish to remove any furniture.
