About this House

* Available Soon * End of July / Aug 1 move-in * Do not disturb any tenants *

Super cute and fresh and 100% BRAND NEW construction studio apartment - roughly 300 sq feet - everything from flooring to paint to the kitchen and bathroom is all new and high design quality and furnishing. Nothing was spared rebuilding with functionality and comfort in mind. Brand new sparkling white quartz countertops with white shaker cabinets in the kitchen, including full appliance package, and new light oak luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. Check the fresh yellow shiplap wall for your built-in headboard! Wall/window unit for AC and heat source. We even have a 58" TCL 4K LED smart TV already installed for you on a full motion mount! New oversized windows facing Cowles Mountain provide tons of sunlight to the apartment. Concrete pad / deck right outside to enjoy the morning coffee or afternoon sunsets.

Super walkable (93 walk score) location right above the main drag in La Mesa Village (one block above, off Acacia) - steps down to La Mesa Blvd and everything available to you - Vons, pizza shops, Farmer's Table, Curbside Eatery, Lightbulb Coffee, and more.

Parking is difficult in this area - so please note that this apartment does NOT come with a parking space included, but I am trying to locate a spot for rent nearby, and a city parking pass can be obtained (~$140/yr) that will allow you to park down on LM Blvd or in a small private city lot 100-200 yards east of the property. Street parking otherwise. Ideal situation for a live / work situation for someone in the village.

Price includes ALL utilities - electric, water, Wi-Fi access, trash, pest control. Just bring your bags and move in! [thus: total rent price reflects a fair market rent AND all utilities baked in, only one cost to you - please compare apples to apples against other rental options, including quality of the studio as brand new]

Apartment is one of four units in a multifamily property - please do not apply if you are not comfortable living in a 4plex adjacent to other neighbors/tenants onsite. This studio is in a stand-alone building under the garage, so it is quite private and secluded from the other three units. There is a 2br unit downstairs across the stair path from the studio, and a duplex above at the street level (none are directly attached to this studio). Accessing the apartment does require going down a flight of stairs (~15 stairs, newly built and well-lit) to the front door. Not a handicap accessible property or unit.

Note: two virtually staged photos (one of sleeping space, one of patio) are included to show size and scale / layout of the apartment.

Preferences: 1 person (willing to consider a couple, but the space is small for 2 people), ~650+ credit score, 2.5-3x income to rent ratio, no prior evictions or convictions, prefer no pets. Full application, background check, photo ID required with lease. In person tours available upon request and initial phone screen.

* Price includes ALL utilities - electric, water, Wi-Fi access, trash, pest control.
* Unit has a wall AC / heating unit, as well as two new large windows.
* No in-unit laundry, but access to shared W/D is negotiable.
* No mailbox available at this address, using your own PO Box is recommended.
* (There is a Postal Annex+ just down in the Vons shopping mall)
* First / last month's rent + proof of renters insurance due before move-in.
