10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved to Boise from the East Coast, (NYC) and I'm very pleased with the school, the teachers and the way I can interact with other parents about the well-being and education of my children. My children are getting a real education in a caring, safe and beautiful environment we never had in NYC. The respect I have for the teacher/student relationship is very high. More importantly, my children are excelling academically and they are learning history, math and English in a way that they also appreciate our community and our country. I've seen some parents get upset over such minor things and think they must walk in my shoes to see what a blessing this school is and Boise as a whole for me and my family. We traded concrete for trees and I think we made the best choice for our family. We found a great community and a wonderful school to go along with all the good things in Boise. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have had a wonderful experience at Hillside. We intentionally enrolled them at Hillside rather than other schools in the North End because the school offered a much more accessible community environment that other schools in the district—especially those that have become increasingly stratified by social class and affluence in recent years. Academics, athletics and clubs have all been engaging and met my children where they’ve needed to be met. Thank you Hillside!Parent Review4mo ago8 Reviews - Check out schools near 8019 Rygate.

"We have a multi-neighborhood picnic every year. It is really easy to make friends here. I have several life long kinds of friendship from living here since 1996. This neighborhood has the James Castle house as well. It's been restored and acts a an art museum of sorts. There are neighborhood groups you can join. Everything is within minutes of your door."
