Adams is a public school with a private school feel! Parents are very involved in the classroom, which allows for lots of differentiation by ability, allowing each kid to learn at their own pace. The focus is on kindness and being a good friend, on addition to being a good student.

The kids here are taught no morals. The teachers disregard anything when our children or us express concerns. The children here steal and hit/spit on other students with no repercussions. Terrible school, probably the worse we’ve been too.

Our family feels so lucky to attend Longfellow. They have passionate teachers, a focus on serving the community, and a supportive parent population. There is great energy when you walk into the school. We love it!

Re traumatizing victims of violence. Belittling parents and their children. Safety plans are a joke to them. Until a child is injured on their property. A parent not of my child was allowed to take her without consent. Jennifer Combs (principle) you're excuses are exhausting.

Wonderful neighborhood school. Great community of parents, teachers, and students!

We open enroll at Whittier for the dual language program. My kids range from typical to mild special needs and they love going to school here thanks to the dedicated and talented staff and diverse student body. It's also a community school, meaning there is extra support for kids' learning needs, and after school child care right on site. It's a shame this website gives Whittier 2/10 based on arbitrary test results. It's a solid 10/10 in my book!
