4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have had one son here for two years and our second is about to finish his first year. We have been very impressed with the academics here at Bartlett. Honors, AP...you name it. They even offer Mandarin as a language. Barltett has prepared our Junior well enough to have scored almost 2200 on his fist attempt at the SATs! Principal Gallego is genuine and very caring about his students. Amazing teachers and a great sense of school pride fill the school's hallsParent Review13y ago - Susitna Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my kids went to this school and every teacher they had was amazing, they always communicated with me and were on top of helping my younger one advance in reading. Any time there was a problem in school or on the bus the office staff was quick to remedy the problem. Everyone there was kind, patient, happy to be there and genuinely cared about the kids. I was also impressed with the office staff and principle, from what I could see they new ALL the kids by name (I volunteered at the school and was there for a couple of years quite often). I've heard from friends of some of the horror stories about the school their kids go to and the problems they are having and I'm shocked, I've only had wonderful experiences with Susitna. The learning scale I did mark average, because lets face it what kid wants to go to school (not many) and the special education I'm not sure at all, never interacted with that side of the school, but by judging the staff I can imagine they did great.Parent Review1y ago - Nicholas J. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has challenging behaviors such as play games on his chromebooks in classes, , but teachers are really wanting to help him, such as replying to my emails, pointing the works he needs to do . inform me his behaviors, giving us suggestions, or even give him extra credit if he does anything extra. School is located in very safe area with Fire station near by, police cars stand by etc. During this pandemic, my sons classes are open, so he has social interactions with other kids etc.One thing do bother me is that he can play online games on school issued chromebook, but I do not believe Begich can do anything.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 7963 Normanshire Ct.
