What Locals Say about Mountain View

  • Frankie Gonzales
"Mountain View service areas not so good as well depends on the phone plan including with the Wi-Fi you get neighborhood is quiet but people are really unprofessional"
  • William T.
"Mt. View is very unique with all kinds of ethnic groups, it can be safe and dangerous at the same time, due to illegal drug users and sellers. But its a place to start for those first time moving into Anchorage, very cheap compared to other places. The same reason why it has become inviting to unwanted tenants. There are alot of good people living in Mt. View who are actively involved with community / school boards to make it a safer place to bring up families. "
  • Theforgotten907
"Nothing. Ton of homeless and crime. Wouldnt recommend living here until the area is cleaned up. Lot of drug users as well"
  • Barbara M.
"Avoid lions park I use to take my kids there until my son found a used needle and tried to play with it. One the block I live I have two abandoned buildings being used for drug activity. "
  • LE
"I've lived her for a year now. I think this neighborhood gets a bad rap. I've never had any problems here. Never heard gun shots, or had anything stolen."
  • Gabrielle E.
"majority of the places in mountain view allow dogs. close the parks where you can let your dog run around and play. there's a lot of dog owners out there in mountain view so as not to weird"
  • Cece D.
"Mt view has many community events throughout the year. Everyone is friendly and a have a public library. "
  • Trulia User
"While Mt. View is known for the crime, I don't see it as being any worse than elsewhere in the city. The bus service does not run at the times when working people need to get somewhere, so a car is needed."
  • Yaneyris O.
"I live here 1 year and it’s bad, a lot of noise and a lot of guns shots, a lot of people with problems with the alcohol "
  • Jack K.
"Mountain View is the most diverse neighborhood in the United States! You can tell that at our street fairs, farmers' market, community council meetings -- even just strolling around on a summer evening!"
