    "Really nice people here. The houses are always decorated for the holidays. It’s quiet and peaceful and has a duck pond and walking trail. We do get a lot of loose dogs so need to walk with pepper spray. They aren’t always friendly dogs. "

    "There is a street party by the Community Services complex called Shin Dig on Shin Oak. we have a Safe Halloween event in the same area and a Memorial Day parade. We have a nice pool, well kept parks, a fishing pier that hosts a Junior Fishing Day every year, and a 9/11 rememberance"

    "I’ve lived in this area for about 3 years now and I love it. The fire station is around the corner as well as the police station. My family and I feel very safe leaving here. Love that the community has different family events throughout the year for different holidays. They have a Halloween party with games and activities for the family, they also have a small carnival with a movie later that night. They have plentiful activities for the whole family. Love that the forum is so close as well as grocery stores, fast food and many great restaurants. Schools are very close and safe. Love that the school is so attentive to each child’s needs when it comes to teaching and learning. They have transportation to those who need it and the bus drivers are all so professional and polite. Overall give live Oak a 10/10. "
