"Windcrest is a great community with a lot to offer. There are parks, walking trails with exercise equipment, an elementary, middle and high school all very close. Shopping, restaurants, banking, transportation is all right here. The lots are larger and the roads maintained. The people and city are friendly. It has local fire, police and ambulance service, that are friendly and quick to respond. "
  • Karen U.
"We love this quiet neighborhood, with plenty of places to walk and run, a pond very close by and caring neighbors. It is like a tiny jewel of a place, with busy streets and people just a few blocks away, yet people, old and young, enjoy the quiet and small town feel of recognizing almost everyone that you pass. There is a vision for a future here too with constant improvements made by the City of Windcrest. It feels very safe and is a lovely place to live no matter what your age. The underground utilities also give it a very clean, open look. We live in a corner lot very close to the Autumn Sunset pond. The elementary school is very nice here in Windcrest, just being completely rebuilt, and we use private school after that so I can't comment on the secondary schools. "
