4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is okay. I would not reccomend the bus at all! The school ends at 3:15 and my child gets home at 5:30?! This is a horrible bus service! I don't reccomend the bus service at all! I told the teacher to keep my child there as someone was on the way and they forced her to get on the bus anyway! My child my pushed down the staairs and beaten becuase she is black and adopted! One child was expelled for self-defense! But the white child she was fighting was kept in school! Don't send your kids here!Parent Review7mo ago - Carole Highlands Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI give this school zero stars. Someone I know got punched in the face and the school did nothing about this incident. Some kid named “Angel” punched the person I know, who at that time was in Kindergarten, riding the bus, going home. The kid “Angel” punched the kid I know for not moving, Angel wanted the seat on the bus, but there were some empty seats around the bus that were available. We contacted the school and told them about the incident, they did nothing. I am disappointed. I hope this school starts doing something about these types of incidents. Thank you to the girl on the bus who helped the person I know. We are grateful to you for giving her a napkin, since her nose was bleeding. The person I know stopped going to this school afterwards.Parent Review2y ago - High Point High School

"Hyattsville is an up and coming community, everything is right here and we can walk anywhere, the city has bad leadership though, very opposed to growth, even though they cannot sometimes stop it."
