"Not as bad as I thought. East Cleveland is making improvements. Hope crime rate will go down in future. Lots of people like to live here because it is closer to work."
  • Trulia User
"nothing take dog to dog park go to safer neighborhood because Collinwood is not safe to walk your dog"
  • Monique B.
"Bumpy. It’s like riding in a horse driven carriage. If you value your car, I wouldn’t advise speeding. "
  • Francinerivera96
"Easy commute not much traffic , East Cleveland has took down a lot of traffic lights so it works out just fine for a easy commute "
  • Venus J.
"this neighborhood is scary it's to much shooting through this hood the children's can't play outside we cannot sit pn the porch and chill. people that stay next door from you are so wild its nothing unique about East Cleveland"
  • Dylan L.
"a lot of scetcy people and drug abusers/dealers sadly the once great city is dying. I have had nothing but bad experiences here with people and places, even the city workers have a poor attitude. There is no way that I would ever move here again."
  • Devitta J.
"Easy access to downtown and the events that they have better food choices the tower city mall has some great food and shopping "
  • Corey R.
"I lived in this neighborhood for 14 years of my life and it was degrading then and has sense become a wasteland."
  • Lorri H.
"no accountability required to own a pet. noone will regulate unless there is a problem. Besides most residents can't afford pet ownership"
  • Nettaluv4
"Nothing at all I do not like East Cleveland neighborhood it’s dangerous not kid friendly and I believe the need to fix it up."
  • Bev M.
"i don't often see dog walkers on the street. many things. east cleveland has long been in decline. "
  • Leiyahendricks
"EC is okay but there's a lot of drug activity and random murders. Also it is not safe to go out at night. The locals are very friendly but I wouldn't recommend walking around, you could get caught up in some drama drive your car. Always walk with a friend or two."
  • Jon B
"I have lived here me entire life. The neighborhood is nice but seems to be declining. There is limited activity to do and the crime rate has risen. "
  • Pipenhotgrill
"There are many families with children who play at the park. Also there are many retail shops within walking distance."
  • Barbara G.
"Bad area to live in. Not here by choice. Close to work though. Hookers are everywhere. Drugs are everywhere. "
  • Barbara G.
"Dangerous neighborhood. Would not walk these streets day or night. Store owners are behind bulletproof glass."
  • Donnalee S.
"My friend visited me from FL with her 2 dogs and she said there wasn’t enough grassy areas and the place looked unsafe."
  • Angela
"My history with this neighborhood goes back forty years. Though, I lived elsewhere for sometime and returned late 2008, I could see the devastation and lack of the area. It’s been almost ten years and I have noticed some improvements. There is still a great deal to be done. I hope that the next generation will be able to rep the benefits of a thriving neighborhood."
  • Shaheedabanks
"I've lived here for 20 something years and Shaw High School is what makes my neighborhood unique. Especially at the all school reunion everyone come together and we party, been doing it for some years and no violence ever errupted."
