4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at Edison from 2015 to 2019 and I had a great time there. I had supportive teachers and counselors. Overall, Edison is a great school and I recommend this school to my fellow people.Other Review6mo ago - Twain Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my opinion, it's the best schools and it's really fun to learn because the teachers are always trying their best to support you in learning. but in a fun way. there is no bullying or making fun of one another which is why i like it. there is no no homework. there is only classwork and if you didn't finish the teacher will tell you to don't stress about it. like they are making everything so easy in a friendly way. again in my opinion it's the best school!!!Student Review5mo ago - Lane Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is no homework and my son’s teacher told us to “…log into his apps if he needs to do more work.” My 3rd grader wasn’t told how to do multiplication tables because “…studies show that it causes anxiety.” Same with reading aloud. They take time from academics to “educate children on how to deal with their emotions and how to be more empathetic.” The directory sends out overwhelming emails and think they are good communicators… Nope, they aren’t. We are selling our home and leaving here this summer because of this school.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 6551 Kelsey Point Cir.

"None that I know off. You have to go to Old Town which is 1-1/2 to 2 miles away for community events (and for a weekly Saturday Farmer’s Market asked about in earlier question)."

"Although there are nice parks where I live, most of the family friendly neighborhoods reside in an enclosed neighborhood called Cameron Station. There is a beautiful library and it's close to Van Dorn Metro. There is a lot of traffic and some have pockets that are unsafe. The area is not pedestrian friendly. Lots of dog parks. Not stroller friendly. Eisenhower seems to have the least amount of crime but it is a busy street during the day. LA Mart is a great source for Asian groceries. The area has almost everything you need in a short distance. Schools aren't rated the best."

"Lots of open grass areas within walking distance and all well lit and frequented by many locals makes it a safe and convenient neighborhood for dog owners. Most properties including townhomes in this area also include fenced-in backyards which provide relief during the day or while away; most townhome communities also have common grassy areas for homeowners to use."
